John P. Fremgen

John P. Fremgen is a Principal and Managing Partner at National Investment Services. He also serves on the board of directors and as a member of the executive committee. John is actively involved in marketing the firm’s capabilities to institutional investors. John’s primary focus is on leading the firm’s public pension fund practice area.

Prior to joining NIS, John was a supervisory special agent in charge with the Drug Enforcement Administration where he was responsible for the overall management of 25 special agents and task force officers in the Chicago area. This included investigation and intelligence oversight, year-to-year field management planning, budgeting, and personnel management and evaluations. Prior to the DEA, he was a police officer in the Western Springs Police Department.

John holds a B.S. in Political Science from Eastern Illinois University.
