Michael D. Fohr is a Co-Portfolio, High Yield at National Investment Services. He joined the firm as a credit analyst and was promoted to his current position in 2020. He is responsible for research coverage in assigned sectors.

Prior to joining NIS, Mike was an equity analyst for Reinhart Partners focused on the energy and business services sectors. Previously, he was an equity research intern at Wells Capital Management. He was also one of four students selected to manage $50 million in fixed income assets for the University of Wisconsin System while attending University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Applied Security Analysis Program.

Mike holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and an M.S. in Taxation from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He also holds an M.B.A. in Applied Security Analysis and J.D. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Mike is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant.
