Vasilios D. Gerasopoulos is a Municipal Analyst at National Investment Services. He is responsible for research coverage of the municipal bond sector.

Prior to joining NIS, Vasilios was a Portfolio Manager for Aquila Investment Management. He was also a Municipal Bond Credit Analyst during his time with Aquila. Previously, he was a Municipal Credit Analyst for D.A. Davidson, a Senior Financial Analyst for Jefferson County, Colorado, a Risk Analyst for Allonhill, a Budget Analyst for Adams 12 Five Star Schools, and a Public Finance Analyst for Stifel, Nicolaus & Company.

Vasilios holds a M.B.A. from Marquette University and a M.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado. Vasilios is a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and the Treasurer of the Municipal Analysts of the Rocky Mountains.
